Willie Leroy Brown "T.T." "Snooky" Obituary (1952 - 2022)

Willie Leroy Brown, known to family and friends as Snooky and T.T. Brown, passed away on December 11, 2022 in Austin, Texas due to cancer at the age of 70. Willie Brown was the fourth child born to Adele Wallace and Joe Brown Sr. in Austin, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of his grandfather, the Reverend Leroy Wallace at Greater St. John's Baptist Church. Willie attended Kealing Middle School and Old Anderson High School. He worked for The Coca-Cola Company and Burnup & Sims until he left to further his singing career by starting bands such as Freedom Machine, Karizma, and many others. At the time of his passing, he was singing with The Soul Expressions. Willie was a man of many talents; you could say he was a jack of all trades. His other major hobbies included working on cars, fishing, telling jokes, and riding motorcycles, and he joined the Humping People motorcycle club where he made many friendships. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Adele Wallace (Brown) and Joe Brown, and his sisters, Helen Collins and Laura T. Fletcher. Willie leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife Gwendolyn Arnold-Brown, four daughters Kipp Brown, Titicia Brown, Miccaa Brown-Hill (Michael) and Antisha Arnold. Four sons Tyrone Gonzales (Marshelia), Brandon Newsome, Braxden Newsome, and Brosean Newsome. One brother Joere Brown (Vonny), five sisters Verna Stegall (Rickey), Kathlyn Brown, Dorothy Perkins (William), Debra Brown-Scroggins (Sandy) and Stacy Brown-Deshay. 29 grandkids, 5 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces and nephews who call him uncle daddy, family, and friends.
