Austin, Texas
Jeremiah Bobby Cavazos, a brilliant ray of sunshine, was born on September 27, 2010, in Austin, Texas. Known for his infectious laughter and heartwarming smile, Jeremiah was a source of joy and inspiration to those around him. As Picasso said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." Jeremiah, with his imaginative spirit and love for life, was truly an artist in every sense.
Jeremiah was a beacon of love and happiness to his beloved parents, Sugar Bobby and Heather Cavazos, as well as his cherished Meemaw, Sally Stein. His radiant personality and boundless energy brought an indescribable amount of joy to their lives. He was a child of endless curiosity, always exploring the world around him with wide-eyed wonder. His youthful spirit, as Mark Twain put it, was a reminder that "Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art." Jeremiah, in his brief time, was both the gift and the work of art.
His memory will be celebrated at a public visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 8:00 am MDT at King-Tears Mortuary, located at 1300 East 12th Street, Austin, Texas, 78702. A funeral service will follow at the same venue at 9:00 am MDT. As we gather to honor Jeremiah's memory, we remember the words of A.A. Milne: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Jeremiah was that something for so many people.
In these moments of collective mourning, we invite you to share your personal memories of Jeremiah.
