In Loving Memory of Jade Oriel “Moosie” Middleton
Jade Oriel Middleton, affectionately known by her loved ones as “Moosie,” passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the age of 28. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, Jade leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born on January 29, 1998, Jade was a fun-loving spirit whose bright personality and love for others made her truly special. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time she spent surrounded by her cousins, family, and friends. Her grandparents held a particularly special place in her heart, and the love she shared with her family was evident in everything she did.
Jade shared a very special bond with her mother, Tonya. She loved her mom deeply, and their relationship was filled with closeness and the special bond only a mother and daughter can share. Tonya was not only Jade’s mother but also someone who held a very special place in her heart. The love between them will remain a cherished part of the family’s memories forever.
Jade also loved her siblings dearly. Her sister, Santana Middleton, and her brother, Alfabyun Wynter, were important parts of her life. The bond they shared as siblings was filled with love, memories, laughter, and the unique connection that comes from growing up together. Jade treasured her siblings and will forever remain a beloved part of their hearts and memories.
Above all else, Jade was a loving mother. Her three children were her entire world, and she loved them unconditionally. She loved being a mother to her daughters, Karielle Lee Glenn-Middleton and Quinn Qaraa Middleton-Houston, and her son, Jaidy'nn Amir Middleton. Her love for her children was constant, unconditional, and immeasurable. They will forever carry their mother's love with them.
Jade was educated in Manor ISD and proudly graduated from Manor High School in 2016. She went on to work as a security guard, dedicating herself to serving her community and helping keep others safe. Through her work, she demonstrated the same caring and protective spirit that she showed toward the people she loved.
Jade leaves to cherish her precious memory her children, Karielle Lee Glenn-Middleton, Quinn Qaraa Middleton-Houston, and Jaidy'nn Amir Middleton; her mother, Tonya Barnes; her sister, Santana Middleton; her brother, Alfabyun Wynter; her beloved grandmother, Carol Middleton; her uncles, Rondo Middleton (Aunt Meika), and Eric Middleton; along with her many cousins, extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her.
Jade was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Willie Gene Middleton, and her father, Travis Wiggs.
Though her time with us was far too short, Jade's love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. The memories she created with her children, family, and friends will continue to live on. Her children will forever know the depth of the love their mother had for them, and her family will forever carry “Moosie” in their hearts.
Rest peacefully, Jade. You were deeply loved, you are profoundly missed, and you will never be forgotten.
