Born on April 29, 1963, in Texarkana, TX, Helen's spirited personality and vivacious energy made her a beloved figure in her community. After a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories, Helen passed away on June 12, 2024.

Helen was a woman of many passions, with dance and celebration at the top of the list. Her infectious enthusiasm could light up any room, and her benevolent nature made her a magnet for those seeking warmth and friendship. Helen had a knack for making every gathering feel like a grand celebration, a testament to her exuberant spirit. She resided in various places over the years including Texarkana, Ark., Texarkana, Tx., and Fresno, California, before settling down in Austin, Texas. Despite her limited religious involvement, her life echoed the Baptist verse, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).
