Eulanda Yvette Perkins Obituary (1958 - 2023)

Eulanda Yvette "Landy" Perkins was born June 1, 1958, in Austin, Texas to Miss Connie Mae Perkins. Eulanda attended Sims Elementary School and Reagan High School in Austin, Texas. She then transferred to Manor High School where she received her diploma. Eulanda known as Landy worked for the State of Texas for over thirty years. Landy knew no strangers, always had a smile on her face and an open heart. Landy loved to read her bible, praying with and for others, spending time with friends and family laughing and always cutting up. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted mother, a loving daughter, sister, and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know Landy was to LOVE her." Landy accepted Christ at an early age and even when her health started to fail, she NEVER lost her faith! She united with the Gildon Creek 3rd Missionary Baptst Church in Manor, Texas. As a member of Gildon she was part of the choir and one of her favorite songs to lead was "Sign Me Up for The Christian Jubilee." Later she united with The Deliverance Worship Center in Pflugerville, Texas under the leadership of Pastor David L. Cox II where she remained a choir member. Landy served in many ministries even when her health did not permit her to. Landy loved to feed the homeless, she helped with going to the homeless camps gathering clothes, washing them, and taking them back. Even in her condition Landy always shared a word of encouragement to others. She then united with Life Changers of Austin under the leadership of Pastor Christopher McAllister where she remained until her death. Landy is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dave and Crystal Perkins. Landy leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother Mrs. Connie (James - deceased) Davis. One son Terrance Donnovan Perkins. Brothers: Michael (Ivory) Perkins of Bastrop, Texas; Anthony Davis of Manor, Texas; . Three grandchildren: Tariah Deshay F. Horton, Jamari Marques Perkins, and Legand D. Perkins all of Austin, Texas. Three Godchildren: Shannon (Shonie) Crenshaw, Kisha Jones, and Bryson Johnson. Four aunts: Bertha (mother) (David) of Austin, Texas, Lenora Easley of Manor, Texas, Elnora Hill of Pflugerville, Texas, and Lois Jean Nunn of Austin, Texas. One uncle: Clifford (Rita) Perkins of Houston, Texas. One special cousin, road dog, and bestie: Shirley Ann Jones of Austin, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
