Annie Mae Williams

Annie Mae Williams, nick name "Tutha" was born June 8, 1945, in the St. Johns Community in Austin,

Texas to the union of Gentry and Minnie Lee Bell. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 1,

2023.

Annie was the second oldest out of thirteen children. Being baptized in the river Annie confessed her life

to Christ at an early age at St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B.D. Hansbrough. She

received her education from Austin Independent School District (Anderson High School).

Annie, "Tutha" will be remembered for her infectious love for her family and smile.

Annie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ted Forrest Williams, Sr.; her parents; four brothers,

Arthur Lee, I.J., Johnny and Jimmy Bell; and nephew Derrick Jerome Bell.

Annie leaves to cherish her loving memories, three daughters, Barbara Lou Sawyer (Robert), Willie Faye

Williams (Willie), Monica Denise Williams (Emmitt) and one son, Ted Forrest Williams, Jr. (Veronica);

Nine grandchildren and several great-grand-children; six sisters, Lola Alexander, Fannie, Ruby, Lowrine,

Carolyn, and Linda Bell and two brothers; A.J.(Geneva) and Freddie Bell; one uncle: David Manor. Annie

also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends.
